A Pair of Cabinets, Alfred Porteneuve
A pair of exceptional cabinets, Alfred Porteneuve, macassar ebony, enhanced by fluted silver bronze banding and hinges, marble top, birds eye maple interior, French, circa 1940. Provenance: Private buy from Montreux, Switzerland.

 

Armchairs, Alfred Porteneuve
A pair of a set of four armchairs, velvet upholstered with rosewood panels on each side, raised on rosewood legs, Alfred PORTENEUVE (1896-1949), French, circa 1930. (reupholstered). Provenance: These armchairs were originally made for the Villa “L’ombre Blanche”, in ROYAN, France in the mid 1930’s.

 

Desk and matching chair, Jean Pascaud
A writing desk, so called ‘Bureau de Dame’, rosewood and leather, three drawers, sycamore interior, raised on four tapered legs terminating in original bronze mounts, Jean PASCAUD (1903-1996), French, circa 1940 (leather replaced similar to original).
